Ride Skipper was born from a simple need: to make everyday journeys better. Our story begins with our founder, Lauren, and her son, Reuben. After his arrival, Lauren found herself unable to drive but eager to get out and about with her newborn. Her experience with existing on-demand chauffeur services left much to be desired. She saw gaps in safety, hygiene, and communication—and knew they could be improved.
Fast forward two years (and many evenings of her husband hearing exactly how she’d do things differently), and Ride Skipper was created! These three key areas became our brand pillars, shaping every aspect of the service as we quietly revolutionise how you travel as a passenger in your own car.
